In the economic and leadership war of Google and Facebook, Google is well positioned as an Internet Brand with better customer satisfaction than Facebook. However, Facebook is a high-growth company that can offer more advantages than Google to advertisers. Because Facebook offers a more targeted advertising approach. Google is having a difficult time trying to compete.

 

The reason is social sites offer better targeting with keywords and demographic specific ads. And users prefere this type of specific ads. While Google knows you’re on the market for a new home, Facebook knows waht causes are important to you, which videos you like to share and how often you make recommendations to your friends. We can say that Google can have more «quantitative information» while Facebook can have «qualitative information» which advertisers prefere.

To counter attack, Google decides to create Google + on June 28th, 2011 , a new socila media and social networking.

In this way, Google + can challenge Facebook on the social media arena and can get more advertisement.

The war between Google and Facebook is reopening !
