When I saw this video,  I think that the concept can be really good on the web to fight poverty. In the USA, there is  a tradition : when a child says a bad words or sweares someone at kindergarden, at school or at home, he has to put a coin into a box, a ‘swear jar’. This well-established tradition has had no equivalent online and for the adults.

That why three creatives (James Dow, Rameet Chawla, Jay Gelardi) decided to develop it online.

Their idea : Charity swearbox  is donation based site that provides Twitter users with  a way to right their verbal wrongs. These application detects how much you recently tweeted swear words, and multiplied this number with 1 dollar let’s say, a reasonable donation to a NGO or others charity organisms that you can choose.
